Guest guest
Kenny De Meirleir, Phd, MD, will also be talking about this possible treatment, as it is a new and exciting one that seems to show promise especially for oldtimers who have done a lot of what is currently available. Guest guest
I know someone who has been doing it a while now. No gains at all. Suppose it must be one of those treatments that helps some and not others? Way too expensive for me to even think of trying and too be honest I'm abit dubious about it. Just my personal opinion not a doctors ;-) K X > > He is speaking at TA conference about this > Mx > > > In a message dated 13/06/2012 23:33:57 GMT Daylight Time, > jillsouthgate@... writes: > > > > > Hi > > Just read a post from Dr Bradstreet in USA saying he has had good results > with GcMAF. Guest guest
IME, every treatment is one that helps some and not others. And I agree about the expense. However, there is a yogurt version available now that is much more affordable and obviously much easier to give to your child. As it is very new, there aren't a lot of reports on it yet; however, the reports on gcmaf in the ME community are quite good, some of them completely amazing, and plenty of our kids have quite a bit in common with adults who have ME. Guest guest
ME is often caused by Lyme!! Infact i saw a study that 97% of ME sufferers tested for Lyme had a positive result!) And I am a believer in Lyme induced Autism (as I may have mentioned before lol!)Sent from my iPhone IME, every treatment is one that helps some and not others. And I agree about the expense. Guest guest
yeah, if someone could just find one of those and lend it to each of us :-) I should say that IMO the gcmaf reports, just as it has been for every single treatment/intervention/therapy I've researched, are overwhelmingly positive, just because that is naturally the news that people want to share. I am certain there are people who have tried gcmaf and seen little to nothing good--generally those people aren't heard from. It isn't the kind of intervention I would start without researching really thoroughly. That's part of the reason we're having it presented at the conference, so that people can hear about the research and the clinical outcomes. Guest guest
You can read about it a bit here http://cfspatientadvocate.blogspot.ca/2012/05/dr-derek-enlander-and-maf-878.html Actually there are two kinds, but the 878 is available to the public now. Guest guest
I know that Dr Antonucci is very much into it at the moment. My friend from Malta is doing it with her son and said the results are very good, she said it's 60 Euro a dose if I remember right.
