Guest guest
Not long ago, I asked about the new Medicare prescription cards because it was confusing and I was ignorant of the subject. I did pick one, $14.10 per month and seemingly reasonable co-pays. One of my meds was $65 per month, so any savings would be nice. It turns out that the cost of that med is $0.00! That more than makes up for the premium and the co-pay whenever I hit that mark. For tier 2 meds I have to pay $7.00. Have any of you had experience with he cards or selection process? I'm unbelievably surprised and satisfied. Dennis
Guest guest
Hi Dennis, I too have been pleased, once the kinks were worked out. I went from paying upwards of $400/month for meds, and alot of time skipping them altogether due to lack of finances to paying copays of $1 or $3, and because I am low income, I do not have to pay the $250 deductible. So, I am now paying about $40 /month for meds (two are not covered under Medicare...), but that has made such a difference. No more deciding between groceries or medicine. Guest guest
Yeah, isn't that a blessing! For the entire month of January, I didn't pay one cent for the covered meds! I still get a discount for the rest of my meds from a program the pharmacy has. I'm not much richer than you, and my wife also has to have expensive drugs that comes out of our pockets, mostly above $100 each per 2 or 3 months. We're trying to get the PPA for her now. We should have done it a while ago, she will only have to pay $20-30 per month for each of them. That'll be a huge help, so maybe we can stop selling stuff we have had for years to meet obligations. Sometimes it ain't easy, huh? Dennis medicare cards > > Not long ago, I asked about the new Medicare prescription cards because > it > was confusing and I was ignorant of the subject.
