Hi Everyone,Sorry I have been MIA - just really busy, I don't know when I last checked in, but here are my workouts for hte past couple of days:

Wed: Step Workout from Voight's Circuit workout (I did the "Just Step" pre-mix for 29 min of step), then I added on KV's Ballet Body Sculpt. I liked this workout overall, but the ab work felt a bit risky for me - too much "C" Curve, so I will skip that in the future. I was able to do it, but it worried me to the extent where I wasn't enjoying it. So, in the future I will skip that. The workout is well chaptered w/ standing work using a barre or chair, ab work using a squishy ball, and 2 segments of matwork using the squishy ball for some of the exercises. The first set includes push-ups and planks, which to me, work the ab better than crunches and "C" curves. The second set is more floorwork for the glutes and thighs. Overall, this is a nice barre-inspired workout.

Thus: KV's Streamline Fitness which includes a little of everything, light cardio, some light weight sculpting uses KV's balls or light hand weights, some ab and back work on the floor and a little yoga at the end. KV definately has her own style - sort of like Ellen B. (Speaking of which, my replacement copy of Grace & Gusto arrived!)

Friday - Due to my massive work project, I cancelled my walk w/ my friend - but early this morning I did 15 min on the bike and 45 min on the treadmill (I ran for 5 minutes). I followed a program I clipped from a magazine - the 5 min run was when we were to walk briskly at a low incline. I already have a fast walking pace on the TM almost 5 mph (usually around 4.7-4.8 mph) so I couldn't really go any faster w/ out jogging. This sort of got me thinking of doing Couch to 5K again. I can do it on the TM for now and then once we start getting more daylight hours I can run outdoors on Tuesday evenings when my DD is at her art class. Still thinking this over.....

For today I may intersperse some segments from core fusion while I work - it will be good for me to get up and move around.
