Hi Gayle I started doing biomeds with my son when he was 3.5 yrs old, to give the CLO i would give 5 ml in morning & 5 ml in evening, i would syringe it into the cheek of his mouth then directly afterwards pop a treat of something nice into his mouth (something that is highly reinforcing for him) My son did this for a while and now takes it off the spoon no problems. The other way you could do it is just start with literally 1ml twice a day mixed into the fruit puree then over a period of time increase the amount of CLO. Hi all,

We saw Dr Goyal last week for our first appointment and he has prescribed that we should give our son, amongst other things, 10ml (2 teaspoons) of nordic naturals cod liver oil each day.

Can anyone give me any ideas how I can get him to take it. I have bought the orange flavour version but it still seems like a lot and he doesn't like it- he will be 3 next month.

He will tolerate some mixed with fruit puree but he's needing a whole fruit bowl to hide 2 tsp and seems to already be getting wise to the fact I'm hiding it in there!

Thanks,

Gayle

I bought some fish oil that's an orange smoothie flavor and it's actually a bit

too sweet for my daughter. I'm wondering if I could freeze it into ice lollies.

I have an ice pop mold. Would it still retain its beneficial effects in this

form? I can't see why it wouldn't.
