Guest guest
With her oldest lead and mercury toxic and her younger sister a toxic mess after a 6y DPT, my oldest daughter elected not to vaccinate her second child. He's had one DPT - she was bullied into that during a ER visit when he was about 7y. He's 10y now and is by far the healthiest of 6 grandchildren. Like you, I would never vaccinate again. > > Hi my hair dresser has a 4 week old baby and she was asking me about vaccines, she is one of the few people that believe that vaccines have caused Charlie's autism. Her 7 year old has mild aspergers so there is a cause for concern. Personally if I were to have another baby, which I'm not, I wouldn't vaccinate at all but that's my life experience. Does anyone know of an up to date reccomendation by DAN dr's on how to vaccinate safely? I think Stepehanie CAve wrote a book on it but a new mum with 2 ohter kids is too knackered to read a book. And maybe something she could show to her doctor. > Thanks in advance for your help. > > Peta x >
Guest guest
Perhaps she could check out the Arnica website: http://www.arnica.org.uk/ there may be a group local to her where she could discuss her worries with other mums who have/had similar concerns. My local arnica group was a huge support to me when i had my last child and had decided not to vaccinate (after much thought and lots of reading/research during my pregnancy). It was so helpful to feel i was not on my own and other ordinary mums had done their research and had the same concerns as I had. Some of these mums had started off vaccinating and then stopped when they saw worrying reactions in their babies. There is also a Yahoo group (which has a lot of overlap with this one) where she can ask questions. There are a good mix of parents and professionals who answer questions on there. Guest guest
Thanks for the replies. The arnica site is very good. It always makes me feel stupid that I didn't look into vaccines more especially as Charlie was born in 2001. Aah well it will always be a regret but then again I know I'm lucky because he has responded so well to treatment. Guest guest
I wouldn't count on anything being convincing for a doctor. I know you said she's too tired to read a book, but Halvorsen's book is broken down by vax, so she would just need to read the chapters for the vaxes that are scheduled first, rather than trying to make up her mind about all of them at once. Guest guest
Hi Anita, What is the full title of the book and author and I'll pass that info on to her. She has said no to MMR in spite of a fair bit of pressure so hopefully she'll stand up to the doctors on vaccines. Guest guest
http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Truth-About-Vaccines-Without/dp/1903933927 He runs a jabs clinic in the UK, so it's not like he's against them, but having read the book myself a few years back, I couldn't imagine any parent being too eager to line up for many of them.
