Guest guest
WOO HOO!!! So exciting, !!! I am incredibly happy for you!! Can't wait to hear about your activities again!!! great news Hi all, I wanted to let you all know that I just got cleared - no restrictions. I had my brain MRI, and it was totally healthy again. I met with the doctor immediately after the MRI, and this is the first time I have ever seen a doctor go SQUEE! It was my 5th visit with this guy, and I nothing but bad news for many months. I had a great rapport with him - a very caring individual. He opened up the scans right while I was watching. He put the old scans next to the new scans, and it was totally obvious how different they were. Man, the old scan was so bad. The procedure from last December did the trick. His parting words were, "Go have fun." I still have some residual brain problems, but each week, things get easier, and it's good to know that this is just the healing process. I actually had a couple of nights of uninterrupted sleep last week, and that was the most amazing, miraculous thing. The tinnitus is probably going to be the last thing to go, but I can live with that. Best of all, it's good to be able to concentrate again. So, I get a second chance. I better not squander it. I'll be reporting my workout tomorrow morning. I'm so glad I won't have to sell my gear.

Guest guest
Sorry this is so late ! I was very upset about putting my cat Gizmo to sleep.....I took extra work and did a few over-night shifts at a hospital to forget about Giz....It didn't work but it allowed me to pay a few more bills and save some money. I'm so HAPPY for you! How are you doing now? Has the ringing gone away yet? Guest guest
Jen, thank you! I'm doing much better. The ringing is still there 24/7, but I'm getting used to that, and to some other residual problems. I think that I'm stuck with the ringing. Feels permanent, but I am able to put it into perspective. I'm glad to be back on my bike and riding regularly, though. I had missed it terribly.I really felt for you when that happened to Gizmo. That is always terribly hard, and terribly sad.
