Guest guest
oooooh, must be painful! Thought I read on here somewhere about rubbing manuka honey, I've not tried it ..... I know you've mentioned no mouthwashes, what about a little sea salt in his drinking water regularly or if he will let you near, using a salt water swab on the area. Hope he gets better quickly. > > > > > > Hi All Harry has woken up with a swollen bottom right jaw/cheek and has an abscess on his top left gum, been to dentist this morning who prescribed 250mg of amoxycillin 3 times per day, i have emailed Dr G because i dont trust dentists (after them filling my mouth with mercury prior to pubicy). Anyone have any ideas of anything else i can do, mouth washes are out as they would just get swallowed! Have increase crystal C, sambucus and added a bit of black pepper to Enhansa (by all accounts it increases bioavailability). Can anyone think of anything else, Dentist said to come back in 3 days if not getting any better then they will increase the antibiotic strength, if all else fails it will have to be looked at under general anesthetic which i really dint want, anesthetic, as you will all probably are aware, depletes B12 which i have been trying to increase. Guest guest
I'd give him the AB's, that's a standard RX for abcess. The swelling is good or he would really be in bad pain. What did you do for yours? I remember you had one?? Guest guest
Swelling is better than pain, at least its trying to get out, if that happens in the bone (at source) mega mega painful Mx Had no alternative but to have root canal, i didnt want tooth out as i had another tooth behind it, otherwise i wouldve been gappy, had no problems (touch wood) with it since, poor Harry's is really bad, its huge! x To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: Mum231ASD@...Date: Sat, 9 Jun 2012 13:47:31 -0400Subject: Re: Gum abscess I'd give him the AB's, that's a standard RX for abcess. Guest guest
hope he gets better soon. would changing or increasing his antibiotics help his recovery? asking because his body might have adapted to the probiotics causing the abscess. what about a new yeast protocol? Guest guest
Hi , I used to get gum infections all the time. I stopped eating chocolate and orange juice and the problem never came back. I had a couple of root canals as a result. I wish I hadn't. The anti-biotics worked almost instantly. The dentist also gave me oxycodone as the pain was intense. Guest guest
Hello , My son had a few times dental operations, so dental problem is always a nightmare for me..Recently I took him to my dentist to hear his opinion as we are waiting for a general checkup from the UCL (some concerns from my son's dentist),My dentist has found his dental health in a good condition and congratulated me! My son also swallows the toothpaste but once a a day I have to use the floride one, night time I do the job and with a thick tissue I clear his mouth.IN the past I used the non fluroide ones years and years but my son had several dental operations , so I am trying this way now.In the morning he uses the non floride toothpaste..I had a bit concern for his gums, afew times seing a little bit bleeding. My dentist prescribed for himCorsodyl .. we haven't started yet, but rotatively I will use this gel tiny bit,no allowing him to swallow. We will use it to strength the gums...Black tea is also contains some fluroide, I am encouraging him to drink a few sips daily..I also do the compress his gum with a little seasalt water. So far, they are ok but they want to have a proper check under the anesthesic, I am delaying at present as he doesn't present a visible problem. I hope you will be able to improve your son's dental problem soon. All the best Nevin > > > > > > Hi All Harry has woken up with a swollen bottom right jaw/cheek and has an abscess on his top left gum, been to dentist this morning who prescribed 250mg of amoxycillin 3 times per day, i have emailed Dr G because i dont trust dentists (after them filling my mouth with mercury prior to pubicy).
