I did the 33 minute premix this morning and although the floor work is not part of it and a couple of standing exercises were omitted, it still about killed me. I was sleep-deprived and no food yet (5:45 workout) so that may have played into it but I'm not making excuses, this is a TOUGH workout (for me anyway). The first time I did the entire workout (the only time so far), with good sleep and a good breakfast, I said it was the hardest leg workout I've done. It still is, even as a shortened premix! At least Cathe made me feel better during the lunges when she says several times how hard they are! I'm glad I got it done though. I had a rough day at work, one class I was counting on to renew when they end their 12 week session next week probably won't (and it was an uncomfortable meeting with people complaining about how changes to the program caused them to not lose when they weren't even trying and other people who are trying and doing well not speaking up, very frustrating and upsetting) and then I came home to emails telling me a former member of one of my classes had lost her battle with breast cancer early this morning. Her son and daughter-in-law are still in the group and the DIL was one of the people who emailed me. She was trying to lose weight even when she found out she was terminal, she said it just made her feel better to do something. Our group meets tomorrow night and I know there will be many hugs and tears (it is a very close group).

Well, I'm off in a little while to help with DD's Girl Scout troop. I got out of troop leadership this year but I couldn't get out of helping at all (though I tried). Hopefully, it will be fun though.

Just wanted to add that I did also get two other emails from WW people thanking me for a newsletter I sent out last night and the encouragement it (and I) give them so that was good. Gotta keep finding those bright spots...

What sad news! It sounds like she was a very strong lady.

Good job with the workout. GSL IS TOUGH!

She was a really neat lady and really inspired all of us. Her DIL has lost almost 80 pounds so far too and her son, who recently started, is doing great too.

Thanks too, it is good to hear you say it is a tough workout!!

Thanks, Donna. Today was a MUCH better day, so far. One more meeting. The first 3 went really well though. The last one is the one that the lady I talked about was a member of so we'll all hug and talk about that tonight I'm sure and it will be good for all of us. Thanks for your encouragement!
