I received this yesterday after winning it on ebay (new in package from Cathe's site) Monday for $10.49 (free shipping too)! It was my birthday present to myself! And... it was okay. I liked Gym Style Shoulders, Back & Biceps better and while I dread Gym Style Legs, the one time I did it I couldn't believe how hard it was but really enjoyed the torture anyway. Now I have the complete set of Gym Style workouts and I'm a little disappointed in this one. It just wasn't as much fun as the other two and most of Cathe's workouts. I'm not sure why. I don't remember the music at all, except a little in the stretch, that probably has something to do with it. I'm not sure Cathe seemed to be having as much fun with it as she does in other workouts either, she's not as animated. The 72 push-ups at the very start was a bit of overkill (and not fun). I did them all, the first 11 on my toes and the rest on my knees, so I feel good about that but it just was too much. I noticed during the rest of the chest section especially (which was mostly bench press and chest flys) that my arms/chest were pretty fried and my left arm, always weaker, was very noticeably weaker and I wonder if the push-ups didn't exhaust it too much. I had to go with lighter weights than I would have liked because, although my right arm could do heavier ones, my left totally failed before the end of some of the exercises on the first set so I had to go lighter for the 2nd (and 3rd if there was a 3rd set). The triceps section also started with 24 dips off the step with no rests. Another strange overkill. Oh well. I like having complete sets unless I know I'll never use a workout again and this isn't bad, just a little boring so for now I'll plan on keeping it. I just realized too that I didn't include Gym Style Legs in my January plan. Interesting and unintentional slip. I traded Butts & Guts away to get CLX so I think I'll slot Gym Style Legs in instead just to have done all 3 in this rotation too!
