Good morning!

I got up this morning just a bit sore in the butt, wasn't expecting that at all.

I had down to do Vol 4, but changed my mind and went with Firm Cardio (AKA Variety: Strong Heart) with Heidi Tanner.

I really like this one. This is one that I would like to keep, but not on VHS. I'm going to see if I can get it on DVD somewhere. I like how she will work one leg (leg press or lunge) and then instead of going straight to the other leg she puts an upper body exercise in-between. Its all slow enough to go heavier too. I used 15, 12, 5 DB and wore 3lb ankle weights. This is just a great overall workout.

In the hour I burned 314 calories, avg 118, max 156. Not huge numbers but this was mostly strength.

Have a great day!~~

Sorry to hear you're still having trouble sleeping! Don't worry about being a broken record either, we care about you!

I got rid of this one & Vol. 6. I hated to do it because they are classic Firms but I didn't like either of them.

I hope the rest of the day is great for you (and a better night's sleep too)!

Good morning!

Another night of bad sleeping. I know, I sound like a broken record. I'm getting concerned again though because it's starting to get bad.

This morning I did Vol 5 with LaReine Chabut. The warm up is awful. Her cuing is really bad. I got through that and I liked the box work with the DB. After only like 20 minutes (if that) she goes down to the floor and does abs and floor work. I have to admit I'm getting tired of the floor work legs. It just gets to be so repetitious. The abs was really long. I was beginning to wonder when that was going to end.

For everything I used 10's, 5's and 3 lb ankle weights.

I burned 253 calories, avg 119, max 166 and I got 1,390 steps. This workout was 45 minutes.

Have a great day!~~

Ugh on the sleep stuff, again!!

I love Fat Blaster! It is one of my favorite FIRM workouts. Great job doing despite the sleep deprivation!

Wednesday Workout

Good morning!

Got myself in bed a little bit earlier last night. Took something to sleep with and feel a bit better this morning. The thing that really gets me is that even though I took something I STILL woke up like 3 times.

Today I went with The Firm Fat Blaster. I really like this one. Its not real long and I feel like I get a fairly decent cardio and ab workout. Funny, I use two risers for the step sections, but yet with Cathe's workouts I feel like I can't. Anyway, I'd like to have this one on DVD.

In the 45 minutes I burned 301 calories, avg 133, max 166, steps 3,011

Have a great day!~~

Good morning!

Today I did The Firm Tri-Trainer (all weights). This is lead by Traci Long. I really like this one and I would keep it if it weren't for being on VHS. I'm getting rid of all VHS regardless. I don't know if I could find it on DVD or not.

This workout is mainly all weights with a few plyometrics thrown in and tall box climbs. It was enough to feel a good burn all the way around.

I burned 268 calories, avg 125, max 158, steps 1,1196

Have a great day!~~
