It may well be kicking serotonin/melatonin back into some sort of

balance (ALA directly affects neurotransmitters, amongst other things).

No sleep issues here but I noticed ds waking up much more refreshed

(deeper, better quality sleep?) after starting 5-htp.

btw have you tried either 5-htp (low dose) or melatonin?

Hi Natasa,

We tried 5HTP and Melatonin without any help. The only medicine that

helped us in the last 18months is ALA!
