Guest guest
Will probably get better response on ABAUK but wondering if anyone here knows if County's are no longer negotiating or in contact with parents through tribunal procedure? I found out yesterday that school are aware we are in tribunal this month but no one has responded to solicitor letters throughout. School are now springing things like sending teacher on talktools course, this sounds good but I believe if it were genuine they would have approached me to discuss a way forward, it was only mentioned at parents night because I said talktools was my preferred way forward as opposed to the very visual dependent prologuetogo. I don't actually believe they "teach" anything properly and only pay lip service but am concerned with this new impersonal approach by County. Guest guest
It would depend on your LA - but if you have a solicitor then they usually route everything through them rather than speak to you. You can still ask for mediation, though. (If you have a solicitor I think it would be best to run this past them first, though.)
