breastfeeding - sore nipples

Someone I know has just had a baby and is suffering with the typical sore

nipples - I notice on the forum people have said the pure lanolin cream is fine

and no nasties, even just bought from Boots. I'm so used to never buying things

from the chemist so I'm hesitant, wondered if that's correct for sore nipples?

and/or whether there is anything else natural that anyone would suggest, other

than coconut oil.
