Guest guest
on tuesday, before physio, i did a 20 min yoga -- 'deep stretch yin yoga: neck & shoulders' led by mimi solaire. i liked this one and will do it again... it was nice to directly address my trouble spots. the practice is very relaxing, you need a bolster or blanket to put under your neck and, later, under your ribcage, while laying down. i felt pretty good after that, and after using the hot tub, and i then went to my physio appt. my neck and shoulders (traps) feel alot better through these various therapies, but i still have an issue with the 1st rib on the left which still gives me that 'back-stabbed' feeling. oh well, i told my physio that i remind myself there are people off way worse than i, and he heartily agreed...lol. however, the therapy sessions are getting more intense now (because the inflammation in my neck and shoulders has abated) and are finally addressing the root issue more. so this is good! this morning i ran around in the deli and i now have office work to do for dh, then the kids will get home and another work shift will start. repeat tomorrow... i think that im off on friday so it will be a workout day then, im looking forward to it. :*carolyn.
