it is has changed a lot .. no idea how they do it.. now you get less points but points are different too (from ~ 2years ago).. you have to enter carbs, protein, fat and fiber.. IT is a great system. good fruits and veggies are 0 points yea! and those crazy carb laden stuff are more points.. it really pushes you to eat healthy but allows cheats.. when I do it I always drop 2lbs a wee To: Exercise Videos

I'm still going to the gym with Will later but I decided to lift instead of watching the Biggest Loser on the recumbent bike tonite. I just felt like doing more intense cardio at home, so to that end I did Turbo Jam, Cardio Party 2.

It was a lot of fun! I hadn't done this workout in quite awhile so it seemed like a virgin. It had a bit more choreography than Cardio Party 1, and the kicks were fun - 123 front kick both sides, 123 back kick both sides, knee side kick both sides x2. I also really enjoyed the finesse - such a fun way to cool down!

Off in a bit to do chest and triceps. For those of you involved with Weight Watchers - is it "illegal" to give out the formula that determines how many points per day you get? If not, what is the formula?

Hugs!

Hi ,

There isn't a formula that we can even give out if we wanted to for determining how many points you get per day. We figure it out using the WW PointsPlus calculator, which has an algorithm it uses that WW does not publish, not even for staff. You put in your age, height, gender and weight and the calculator tells you how many points you get per day. I can figure your points for you, email me offline with your age, height and current weight (I know what your gender is!) but if you intend to follow the WW program the very best way is to find a local meeting and join. Some people are very successful using WW online too, without meetings, but most do better with meetings. (And many who try to do it on their own end up in our meetings, including me...just sayin'...)

Hugs,

im pretty sure that it gives the guideline for points per day in

my handbooks.

i will look it up tomorrow for you. the 'formula' comes into

play when you are determining how many points a particular

serving of food equals. you have to take into account cals, fat

and fibre. i used to have a plastic 'slider' thingy that

figured it out for me, now i have a little electronic calculator.

the number of points per day and the number of points in foods

changes depending on which version of WW you are using. if you

are interested, i could look for my old slider and the guidebook

that goes with it and send them to you.

:*carolyn.

I'm not sure this went through last night (or this morning) so I'm resending it. I apologize if it is a repeat, I didn't see it post.

Cola Pop and , thank you!!!  You are so sweet.  I'm good for now, just curious about WW, of course with the new year I know a lot of people who have singed up. I'm kind of a nerd in that I really enjoy looking up stats and seeing how I compare with various athletes' macronutrient profiles and I like Excel too.  If I should sign up for WW though you all will be the first to know!
