Oh YAY!  I love spinning to a motivating playlist too, and you can intuit what the drills are by the song.  It's like dancing that way!  Sorry to hear about the elbow and rotator cuff :/  but it sounds like you are being prudent and taking the proper course of action!

I'm so tickled we did CP2 together today, Turbo Nightsister!  Weren't the kicks and the finesse a blast?  Let us know what rides you put together!Hugs

 Hi everyone,

Since posted her Turbo rotation I was inspired to follow along. I did Cardio Party 1 on Sunday, and BOY did I totally forget how much kicking is done in the kicks section!

On Monday I went and got my annual physical. My shoulder has been bothering me and my elbow, while not as bad as it was before, still complains every now and then. So of course I was diagnosed with tennis elbow and possibly tendonitis in the rotator cuff somewhere (the pain shoots up my neck to my ear and around my clavicle and my shoulder blade). YAY, except, not. I made an appointment with an ortho next week so I'm hoping I can get a shot or something and with rest I'll be fine.

But of course stupid me later that Monday decided to do Turbo Jam Cardio Party 2. I just won't reach as high with my left arm or do hook punches full strength, right? Yeah, no. I was feeling it this morning so I hopped on the spin bike.

Spin bike shorts are a must for me!! I recently went and bought a pair off the clearance rack at my local bike store for $35 ($35!!!) and wow, it's completely different. Sure, it feels like I'm wearing a diaper but I was on that bike for 40 minutes and could have stayed on longer had I not had to go pick up my son. I blasted my music and just had a ball. Another thing: the right music is also an absolute must. I don't know if I can spin to a video if the music is just ho-hum.

It was like a revelation. I'm actually glad that my shoulder forced me into doing a different cardio workout because I couldn't believe how much fun I had on the bike. I hope that lasts.

Have a good rest of the week!
