Having problems with CP1 as a Yoghurt Starter

My last few batches of SCD yoghurt using CP1 have all not turned out well. I

have been using CP1 as a starter for the last 2 to 3 years with no problem until

recently.

I cannot pinpoint what the problem is as I have tried 3 bottles of CP1 from

different sources and I am still getting the same problem. I have changed the

milk batches and even played around with the temperature settings and still no

luck.

Strangely, today I tried a small quantity of milk using L plantarum single

strain also from Custom Probiotics and that seemed to work.

has anyone come across this before? What other acidophilus starters can you

recommend that I use?

Thanks!
