Thursday Yoga

I keep thinking today is Friday. I'm glad it's here tomorrow.

This evening I tried another routine from Aim True Yoga. This is the second routine considered "intermediate" What are they thinking? I call it SUPER advanced. This is one that I would do as a actual workout. I was sweating and breathing really heavy through a lot of it. This won't be a routine I do again for my yoga routine, just too hard. She does a lot of hops and twisty things. She moves pretty fast too.

When I do yoga routines like this I get just a touch nauseous. Funny that towards the end she says "its normal to feel a little buzzy or nauseous...its part of the process" She ain't kidding.

So, I made a note on this one that I won't be doing this routine as my yoga unless I MODIFY!

It was 45 minutes long.

We got high winds, cold temps and snow. I so hope they have a school closing or at least a delay.

Okay, if YOU say it's hard , I KNOW I would never even WATCH this dvd!  I can't do the Mtv Yoga but you like that one so.... WOW.I hope you sleep better tonite!  Hugs

Glad ypu gave it a second whirl anyway . I hate slow yoga!

 

I got really burnt out with Blissology so I decided to give Cathe's Yoga Max another try.  I've only done this one just once.  I remember it being super slow moving so I knew I didn't want to do the whole thing.

 

  I did premix #1.  This was 32 minutes.  It was better, but still a lot slower yoga then what I'm use to.  She holds the poses pretty long and I was feeling it in the warrior poses.   There isn't enough stretching at the end though.  In fact, there isn't any at all.  She comes to stand and then next thing you know they're lying down doing the relaxation pose.  I got down too, but I did some stretching while they just laid there.

 

I'll probably pull this one out very occasionally just for a change up.
