oh thanks didn't know that.. but I wanted my steps from yesterday as I walked for nearly 2 hours (1 hour each dog walk) To: "ExercisevideosYahoogroups (DOT) Com" <exercisevideos > Sent: Wednesday, February 1, 2012 12:32 PM Subject: re: fitbit judy

hi judy - you probably know this, but if you forget to wear your

fitbit you can go to the website and log the activity so that it

shows up in your totals. what is really dumb is that this

works for calories burned only! you are not allowed to enter an

estimation of your steps for the activity :(

actually, i was wrong!! you can log these steps from yesterday

and have them added to your total !!

go to

>> LOG

>> ACTIVITIES

>> click on the arrow beside 'today' to go to yesterdays

activity log

>> under FIND AN ACTIVITY TO LOG

>> beside COMMON ACTIVITIES, select WALKING

>> use the drop down box beside DISTANCE to select STEPS

>> enter estimated step count in the 'distance' box

>> enter other info and log it

the 'walking' activity has been pre-defined to allow you to enter

estimated steps. it seems that if you create your own custom

activity to log, you are not allowed to do that (can only enter

calories burned). or if you choose a a different activity and

it hasnt been setup to allow entry for steps, then you are sunk.

confusing!
