When I was put on it after I was diagnosed, I was told that it might

take three months to kick in. After the three months, I still didn't

have much improvement, and I was told. " Oh, you're just on a baby

dose. " It eventually did help considerably, but kept lowering my white

blood cell count and eventually was switched to Enbrel, which helps a

lot more than the mtx.

Hi there,

yes it usually takes a couple of months to kick in to the point where

you will feel a difference.
