New law proposed to improve support

Carers UK is backing a new law that if passed would help identify hidden carers and improve access to social care services. You can read more about it here. The Bill, championed by Barbara Keeley MP, is the next step in our work to win more support for carers and we need everyone to back the bill if it has any chance of becoming law.

Carers Week Round up

Congratulations to all who took part in this year's Carers Week.You were part of the biggest Carers Week ever with over 9,000 events taking place around the country. The results of the carers survey showed two in five carers are sacrificing their own health by putting off medical treatment to care.
