Guest guest
My son has had sudden onset mental health problems and or migraine. In the 6 weeks since he has had obsessive thoughts and amongst other things complains of a sore throat. I have "persuaded" the GP to test for strep but if the test comes back negative want to know if this is conclusive evidence that strep is not involved. Would appreciate any advice Thanks

Guest guest
, I've also read that more experts are coming round to the idea that strep is not the only bacteria involved in OCD or PANDAs or PANS. So, there may be a bacteria involved, just not strep. Plus, infection can have passed, but the autoantibodies left behind are what cause the behavioural problems.
