Guest guest
If you have any experience whether good or bad or using this type of advocate for you autistic child then I should be grateful if you would share it with me (off list if you prefer). I have been told they can be very useful in foregrounding the child's needs at meetings etc (and they could be seen by professionals as more impartial than " Mum " , who, as we know, is always bonkers and knows nothing about their child) but my concern is that the advocate might have their own agenda and might end up being unhelpful and in conflict with " Mum " and " Dad " . Thanks Margaret
