Guest guest
Morning! I used some Xmas cash and got a great deal at totalfitnessdvds.com sale they had over the holidays. It was the 4 packs of Jari for $20 each, plus the 10off discount code, BUT I also had reward points for the times I purchased from her site (forgot all about it!). My total for the 8 dvds came to $32(free shipping!!). In the spirit of it, I did one of the workouts that I wasn't sure I wanted to keep based on the clips. Body Rock is one half cardio and one half weight training, but the cardio was described as dance. While there is dance cardio, it's really a mix of hi-lo taught by Jari and dance taught by another instructor. The dance combos weren't hard to keep up with, I just don't have rhythm LOL and Jari's was straight forward. They alternated every 3 minutes. My only complaint is that Jari would start almost immediately before you knew what the moves were. The weight routine was very typical of Jari's weight workouts, just shorter. I might have to try the cardio a few more times before I decide if I want to keep or trade this workout. It wasn't bad, just not into certain dance workouts like I used to be. I always go on and off like that, so who knows I might chance my mind later. Suppose to get DH to UVA today, but we have no water (stupid pipes froze). Sitting here waiting for them to "thaw" out so I can shower and get on the road. They never did give a set time to be in, but this is inpatient and not outpatient like the last time, surely they have reserved the room and everything whereas outpatient is all turnover and need the space more.
