Guest guest
I took Mobic for several months, and it really helped me, I wish I could still take it, but my kidney's really cant handle ant non-steroid anti-inflammatory. But I never really had any other side effects from mobic, and noticed a big difference in a couple of days. in WI eandsspivey <ereese@...> wrote: Hi all. I just wanted to say hello and hope everyone is doing well. As well as we can.... I'm in between meds and having more pain than I ever realized possible. I started on Mobic today...does anyone take that? I go back to the doc next week and expect to start MTX so maybe the pain will go away then. Have a good week and I hope the weather is as nice where you are as it is here in Alabama. Take care,
Guest guest
Hi ; Good luck with your meds. I don't know about Mobic but it sounds like it is not doing the trick for you. As for me, I do just fine on the MTX. Weather here is so-so. Beats snow storms. eandsspivey <ereese@...> wrote: Hi all. I just wanted to say hello and hope everyone is doing well. Guest guest
Hi : Sorry you are having a bad time right now with pain. I take Mobic and it helps me, but you should feel better once you are able to start Mtx. I am on Mtx and Enbrel, but was on Mtx for a long time just one its own, and it was helpful to me. Good luck - Kathe in CA --- eandsspivey <ereese@...> wrote: > Hi all. Guest guest
How long does it take for the Mtx to really kick in. I've been on it for 2 weeks now, (2 doses) and so far, I'm not seeeing any difference. The pain isn't as severe as it was in the beginning because of the prednisone I'm on, but I'm still pretty miserable a lot of the time, both in terms of pain and fatigue. > > > Hi all. Guest guest
Oh joy. I sure hope it doesn't take THAT long. So far my rheumatologist strikes me as being pretty aggressive in terms of treatment, and she also seems pretty on top of advancements in the field... I haven't read much here (other than the personal experience stuff) that I haven't heard from her. So I certainly hope that she doesn't wait too long if the mtx doesn't start working. She injected my hips yesterday, so I'm hoping that at least they will feel better in another day or two. (it helped right away when she did my shoulder) > > > How long does it take for the Mtx to really kick in.
