Guest guest
Wow! Great workout for me! I got the " Power and Strength " DVD from Goodwill for $3, and it was a good investment. It actually has 2 45minute workouts, one called Power and one called Strength. Hmmm.. His style would not be for everyone, but I like it. I I did the " Strength " tonight. He starts out with methodical stretches (something I always need)> his backgrounders are always chanting an 8 beat count. I also like that, for some reason -- like it helps me focus or something. also steps through each routine at half speed two or three times before doing it to tempo. Even with the slower practices, I still screw up, but not nearly as badly as I would if they were presented fast. He frequently reminds you about posture, tighten your abs, and such. He seems to concentrate on the strength and form rather than speed and cardio (which makes sense for a workout called " Strength. " ) I like his overall tone ans speed of the workout. He gets a little preachy about health philosophy at the end, but, hey, it's a DVD with an off button. I think I'll do this again and fairly soon. Indyrose, who will probably have butt DOMS tomorrow!
