Hi Sandy,

I use ceramic dishes and ceramic loaf dishes lined with baking

parchment (unbleached tcf) and ceramic ramekins with bun cases in

for buns.

Hope all is well.

xx

Hi all,

We just made fruit cakes with our simple chickpea flat

bread recipe (but with baking powder, sultanas and

raisins).

The paper cake cases we used flopped open with the weight

of the mix so we need to find something stronger. We are

avoiding all non-stick coatings. What non-toxic cake tins

or cases would you suggest for baking cupcakes, flat

sponges, fruit loaves etc?

Best wishes, Sandy

Hi Sandy

We use safepan products which are coated with ceramic, they can be found in

TKmax.

Thanks

Carol

Thanks and Carol.

I've made sponge cake with gram flour - so pleased :-)! We're calling it fruit

loaf. Lots of sultanas and raisins and just spices, soaked gram flour,

sunflower oil and baking powder. I used oiled parchment paper in a pyrex dish

and it pops out quite easily and cuts into squares. I plan to buy some safepan.

Actually - they other day I realised my grill pan was releasing something when

very hot ...I'd not thought before about what it was made of.

Best wishes, Sandy
