Off to run 12K in a bit in prep for next week's race. I'm getting excited for it! It's the low key 12K Valentine Run. The shirt this year is white, UG, but it's such a nice route and the energy is good, plus last year I got handfuls of expensive NUUN tablets afterward! SWEET!

I'm excited for you. Can you get any pics? would love to see them.

I'm loving your workout chart AND I LOVE how you're adding up your workout hours by the week. Hmm, maybe I should try that and see what I come up with.

Great job !

I will get some pics from the race and share - sometimes they turn out good and sometimes it looks like I'm stoned.  Crossing my fingers they snap the camera at the right time! I like tracking things in Excel, as you can see :) It's fun to sort by different data criteria.  I have trouble tracking food and exercise on web based programs, it's too cumbersome for me.  I have my favorite eats in the tab next to my daily log tab so it's a simple copy and paste since I tend to eat the same things most of the time.  If I don't have the info, nutritiondata.com or livestrong.com usually has it.  I like to track my macronutrients in addition to calories and see how my eating registers compared fo the various athletic profiles.  I tend to naturally eat like a fighter (40% protein 40% carbs 20% fats) as opposed to Noel's profile or the runners' profile. I find this interesting because kickboxing is one of my most favorite workouts to do!

I like reading about your running in all kinds of weather and still loving

it!

It is absolutely gorgeous here, sunny and almost 50, very unFebruary like in

Michigan, but my foot has started up again and I don't dare go for a walk

although I do want to. I've been having issues with my reconstructed breast

too. Not sure if it is muscular, scar tissue or what but after I did some

pretty intense Cathe's, after the DOMS faded, I still had a lot of

discomfort as I moved my left arm that I finally traced to, I think, areas

along the scar line. So... I've been sidelined for the last week or so,

afraid to do much cardio or lower body because then I'm in too much foot

pain and afraid to do much upper body because I'm not sure what is going on

there. I'm seeing my oncologist on Wednesday (for a check of unrelated

issues) and my podiatrist Thursday so hopefully I'll have answers and

resolution. I'm missing my workouts (but have to admit I am enjoying the bit

of extra time I have each day which is making me less likely to try things

like lower body floor workouts, which I could probably do, I'm a bit afraid

of much core work though because so much of that calls on chest muscles

too). I'll get back to my stuff by next week, I think. In the meantime, I'm

reading and enjoying the running and other workout reports I'm reading here!

whoo-hoo!!! i would love that... i only have 16 gig on my mp3

player and it fills up all of the time, im constantly trying to

manage my library. i keep the little 1 gig tiny players for

sleep audio and cardio coach workouts, which are perfect for that.

it sure is handy to have multiple players :) congrats on your

new media player, it sounds awesome!
