Yes Sam has them, lower back..........

Mx

Has anyone had a child going through puberty with stretch marks? According to Google, this is quite normal but it is not something I have ever seen before on a child.

has large purple ones over his tummy, upper arms and various other areas. Just wondered if we are on our own with this or not? I am hoping they fade as at the moment they are noticeable to say the least.

Yes they could be! Its well worth testing I think! Lyme and Bartonella are often

co-infections.

We are treating my son and myself for Lyme at the mo.. I think my sons Lyme is

congenital!!.I have no recollection of a tick bite on him or me incidentally.

Hi,

My son is the same, stretch marks on his back, from the waist down which started

as he shot up in height and hyper mobile joints. I am in the process of

investigating whether he has a connective tissue disorder or not. He also has

mild scoliosis.

I've had a quick look at some pictures of the lyme stretch marks and these seem

to occur in more odd places and they actually look like something is under the

skin making the mark, look here:

I am afraid it is an expensive test at Breakspear probably..You may as well test

for Lyme too.. My Lyme (recently discovered) could be the cause of my heart

abnormalities (also recently discovered) However my cardiologist had never heard

of the connection and had to look it up on google!! so not very encouraging! lol

If you havent already, you need to check out the Lyme induced Autism site! Full

of info on this subject.. I am utterly convinced it is at the root of all my

son's " autistic " issues! If you are born with a compromised immune system (due

to a bacteria like Lyme) then you are going to have no ability to function

normally, chelate etc, tolerate foods etc, especially with the onslaught of

vaccines, mercury poisoning from vaccines and other sources etc,

Hi Kath,

No luckily we have private insurance cover, so we are doing it that way, i'm

sure it would have been a big headache trying to get the NHS to do anything!

........but even doing it privately i'm still hitting problems as the doc i'm

seeing also work in the NHS and he cant understand why i want to have further

investigations done as ds already has autism!!!!...earrghhhhh give me

strength.....luckily he is happy to take the money, after i insisted he does

something!

The possibility of cardiac involvement is the reason i am pushing for

investigations, i would rather know than not know.

I hadn't realised scoliosis may be connected to mercury toxicity i will have a

look at that website you mention, thanks!
