Dear Sir/Madam,I represent a research project currently being conducted at GoldsmithsCollege, University of London.We are carrying out a large-scale study of people's experience of autismspectrum diagnosis in the UK. Our aim is to gather the most comprehensiverange of experiences and opinions about diagnosis. This is to find outwhat makes a good diagnostic experience and what areas could be improved.Findings from the project may help inform future guidelines for diagnosingautism spectrum conditions in the UK. We will also be comparing theinformation we gather with data from 15 years ago to see if experienceshave improved.You can find out more about the project on the information sheet attached,or at our website;http://www.gold.ac.uk/psychology/research/asd-diagnosisIf you want to get involved you can access surveys to express youropinions about diagnosis on our website.
