Drs don't tell you much. If you complain about something, either you are a

complainer and they ignore you or they increase your meds ... and that is not

always the solution.

Get off the celebrex right this minute. Side effect: heart attack.... been

there. NO FUN.

Before doing anything else, how about trying to find out which food you

are sensitive too. Me and many others are all dairy products, and for me any

alcohol is another killer. By just being completely off these 2 things I am able

to be on 10 mg of MTX weekly and only 2.5 mg of prednisone daily. I feel pretty

good and pretty much pain free. I have not taken any pain pill for the past year

and let me tell you, the previous year had been hell.

probs which are now all fixed, actually since we moved a month ago the computer

has had to be fixed, my son knocked the tv of its atand and broke it...and to

I have been on it, three times a day for the past three years..my Rheumy has

not been concerned with the dosage side effects etc. My new Rheumy wants me off

celebrex within the next couple of visits, but only offers panadol as pain

relief.

My body is already telling me what it thinks of dropping the lunchtime

dose....so do any of you have a better alternative??

Also I am on 20mg mtx and Arava, he said he may need to step that up so what

would be the next step???

Once again sorry I havent been so active in the group I hope to change that

now that the computer is on the mend
