Guest guest
Yes you do need to be this strict in the beginning, if its hampering family outings you could digestive enzymes, AFP Peptizyde for Gluten and Casein or TriEnza for those and everything else HTHMandi x Hi there, I've recently started the gf/cf diet with my son with good results so far. I am just wondering how careful I should be about cross contamination? For example should I allow him to have chips at a restaurant that cannot guarantee their chips will not be fried in oil that other products containing gluten have been fried in. I'm not sure if I need to be this strict or not? Any thoughts? Thanks, Emma
Guest guest
Thanks Mandi. You say in the beginning. Can you be less strict later on? Also can you tell me - should I be doing things like using separate toaster for 's bread etc? Guest guest
Later one you will know what effects him and how. yes separate toaster as contamination with those is easy to do, different bread bin, or just bin the bread and save the hassle lol Mx Thanks Mandi. Guest guest
Hi. Ditto for everything the previous posters said. Also, an excellent resource for advice about the GFCF diet is www.tacanow.org (click on " family resources " ).
