Guest guest
Just about to start my 5yr old DS on Taurine and would appreciate recommendations on what sort of dose to aim for. Also would be very interested to know of any reactions, good or bad, to look out for. Thanks as always. Sue
Guest guest
We use Kirkman's. Children 5 and under take between 100 and 250 mg. once a day (dosage doesn't have to be precise). (This is from The Autism Book by Sears) The advantage of Kirkman's is that their vitamins are highly concentrated - it's easy to hide a smaller amount of powder in your child's food. I don't know if you can find their products easily where you live. I order them from www.cenaverde.com (it's their European distributor) I didn't notice any particular reactions (positive or negative). Perhaps the benefits aren't seen right away. My son is three by the way, and has been taking Taurine for two months. Good luck. > > Just about to start my 5yr old DS on Taurine and would appreciate recommendations on what sort of dose to aim for.
