Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Just a friendly reminder that it's that time of year to get our flu shots. For those of us with an autoimmune disease such as RA, Lupus, and Fibromyalgia it is very important to be protected against the flu. Also, if you have not done so, pnuemonia shots are available and it is my understanding that one should have a pnuemonia shot every 5 years. If you have Medicare Part B the flu shot and pnuemonia shot should be free. I got my flu shot last Sunday at my local market all I had to do was show my Medicare card that indicated I had Medicare Part B and the flu shot was free. If you do not have insurance one place to get a free flu shot might be your city/county health agency or your local community clinic. Wishing everyone a very healthy fall and winter.
