Guest guest
Hi Sophie Jack is on Azithro, Fluconazole and Tinidazole since Saturday and already much more engaged and happy, we are due to add Aciclovir on the 11st August so will be interested to hear the responses from others. Marina For the last 8 weeks my son had been on Azithro, after 2 weeks of him being on it we added Acilovir, as soon as we added the Acilovir things started going down hill, loads of teeth grinding, un-controlled wetting himself, very flappy, lots of noise making like " mmmmm " " ahhhhh " , he seem to be going backwards. My son has now finished the 6 weeks course of Acilovir, but the wetting and noise making is still going on.When he was on the Azithromician he was brilliant, the best I have ever seen him, loads of talking, just with us more. I was just wondering if any other parents had their children on the same combination of tablets and what their result were like. ThanksSophie x
Guest guest
Hi Marina My Franco was on an AntiFungal so I think this is why we had so many dodgy side affects, we recently started giving him grapefruit seed extract to help with the yeast flare up. I have to say I thought Franco was amazing on the Antibiotic! Hope it all goes well for Jack please keep me updated. Guest guest
Yes we are with Dr G. I have to say Im really looking forward to see the French Dr at the treating autism conference as he treted children with just ABX, and like I said before Franco was amazing on just Azithro. Dr G did suggest the grapefruit seed extract for the yeast??? Guest guest
Marina, Are you using Sacc B and Candex together? If so, you're using the Candex to kill the Sacc B. They need to be used far away from each other, like Sacc B for a few weeks, let them die naturally and repopulate with other colonizing bacteria, then Candex as the next phase. Or vice versa. But not durng the same weeks. Guest guest
just few words of caution with grapefruit juice as it inhibits the turnover of drugs cleared by the liver as it contains some potent enzyme inhibitors. By inhibiting turnover it can cause drug levels to go through the roof and cause adverse event (from mild to hospitalization and I dare not mention...). A GP will not know this necessarily as theis pharmacology knowledge is limited as they are not experts (that's why they refer to the NHS book of drugs and their dosage to prescribe). This finding is recent (3-4 years ago) and still has to make its way to the wider public. It has been estimated that in the US alone GPs cause 10,000 deaths a yar by missing drug-drug interactions and liver enzyme inhibition! I personally challenge GPs every single time they hand out medications to the extent I had to explain to them what was going on (it's not exactly my line of work but it is very, very close). More than happy to explain further-I tried to keep it simple. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ** > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > For the last 8 weeks my son had been on Azithro, after 2 weeks > > > of him > > > > > > > > being on it we added Acilovir, as soon as we added the Acilovir > > > > > things > > > > > > > > started going down hill, loads of teeth grinding, un-controlled > > > > > wetting > > > > > > > > himself, very flappy, lots of noise making like " mmmmm " > > > " ahhhhh " , he > > > > > seem > > > > > > > > to be going backwards. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > My son has now finished the 6 weeks course of Acilovir, but the > > > > > wetting > > > > > > > > and noise making is still going on. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > When he was on the Azithromician he was brilliant, the best I > > > have > > > > > ever > > > > > > > > seen him, loads of talking, just with us more. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I was just wondering if any other parents had their children on > > > the > > > > > same > > > > > > > > combination of tablets and what their result were like. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Thanks > > > > > > > > Sophie x > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
