Guest guest
Hi All, I need some guidance how to handle this social worker who is been after us for couple of weeks now. She assessed my daughter at home got all the informationfrom us, from her school teacher and from other professionals working with my daughter. She is due to meet my daughter's carer(direct payment) next week to know more about her. Today she calls me up and asked me whether she can take my daughter for couple of hours outside to assess her how she behaves, as she thinks kids are different at home and outside. Since my daughter is improving from various therapies and biomedical treatments i am afraid whether this would be some tricks to cut down on the benefits which she is getting at the moment. These benefits only helping me financially to carry on with my daughter's treatment. I can't afford otherwise. I told her i need to ask my husband whether she can take her out or not. She might call me again to know my answer. Please guide me. Can we disagree? if so what reason can be given since she is a social worker?. Many thanks,.
