Friend of mines son got diagnosed today.

Any recommended reading. Obviously she is In a bad way and we will talk biomed

at some point but she can't take it all in at the moment.

A book on what autism is and how to deal with simple things like behaviour would

be helpful

The following 2 books helped me enormously in the beginning, in understanding autism and giving a multitude of simple ideas to develop communication with my son;More than Words by Fern Sussman (pricey but invaluable)Your first steps in intervention with your child with autism by Newsom etcAmySent from my iPad
