DH went to hug me tonight and I yelped, surprising both of us! He asked what was wrong and I said, "Pec pain!" He looked at me like I was crazy and I explained, "I did a chest and triceps workout yesterday and you went to hug me and it hurt!!" He started cracking up and asked what I did. "Well, it started with 72 push-ups and went on from there with chest presses & flys." He asked wasn't 72 push-ups enough (obviously, he doesn't know Cathe). I then told him I also did triceps and went to demonstrate a kickback and said "Ouch" as I did that and again he was laughing. "Overdid it a bit?," he asked. Nooooo, lifted really heavy and felt great about it, now I've just got the DOMS to prove it! This heavy lifting rotation has been giving me consistent DOMS. I'm not sure about other results but I'm sure if I keep it up I'll either really see results or be totally incapacitated at some point (it isn't that bad, I can still function well, just have momentary reminders of how hard I'm working)! :-) Off to bed. Cardio tomorrow if I have time. We have church and then celebrating my birthday (again), this time with my in-laws.
