Guest guest
I have a dear friend who was in her late 70's when that awful tornado hit Duncanville in the 90's. She went into the pantry in the middle of her house, prayed for God to protect her, and when she came out, that was all that was left of her house-just that little pantry on a bare slab. When Governor s came to tour the disaster site, she met Sybil, and went and stood with her in that little old pantry. When she walked out she had tears pouring down her face. She told her if she was elected again, Sybil would be invited to her inaugural ball. Too bad she wasn't. I will never forget that issue of Texas Monthly that had her on the cover. In white leathers, on a white Harley, with that immaculate white hair and blazing blue eyes. " Poor , he can't help it. He was born with a silver foot in his mouth.
