Friday's workout

(there must be a million posts titled " ---day's workout " )

I had planned on running two miles again, but very shortly into it I felt my

heart rate was way too high. It was! I'm pretty sure it was because of donating

blood yesterday. The fluids should all be replaced by now, but I just don't

" bounce back " like I used to...

I ended up doing a power walk instead. I played with the settings on the

treadmill to see how they affected my heart rate. I got some rather interesting

data from that. A change of .2 mph can make a steady change of around 5-7 beats

per minute. Of course, that may all be different on any given day. It does sort

of keep things in perspective, though.

I walked 2 miles at an average of about 3.5 mph. My HRM said I burned 686

calories, although that seems awfully high for a 2 mile walk! (Maybe because of

the blood donation?)

Hope I'm back to " normal " by tomorrow!

heehee!!! yes there are...LOL

sometimes i will try to put the title of the video i did in the

subject line in case i want to find it later. but really it

doesnt matter! we dont care, especially if we get individual

emails... i usually dont even read the subject lines...

but if someone is on digest, then they probably read the subject

lines to see if they want to read the post or not...
