The government is planning to tear up another piece of the legal framework that

protects our children. This campaign and e-petition concenrn the timescales for

social services to do assessments for a " Child in Need " .Every disabled child is

a " Child in Need " . If the government goes ahead social services will be able to

drag out assessments because the statutory limits will have been removed.
