Guest guest
It's like spring in PDX and my 3 mile walk at lunch was glorious - it was sunny, warm for winter, and I had new tunes piping through the ear buds today :)When I got home I did Turbo Jam's more athletic cardio workout, Punch, Kick and Jam. FUN! The finale is identical to the one in Round 25, which is a favorite of mine. After that was the capoeira / finesse section from I believe R26 that features the esquiva - the tribal beats in this is a meditation. I skipped the 5 minute toning with resistance tubing, as I had plenty of that to do for shoulders at CAC tonite: 3 sets of 8, 8 counts up, 8 downLife Fitness Presslevel 6, 7, 7 (no lbs listed for these new machines and I've heard conflicting amounts for the levels so I'll just go by level so I can objectively mark my progress) Lateral Raise, Life Fitness:35, 35, 35Barbell Upright Rows:30, 30, 30Kettlebell Clean and Press:20 lbs, 8kg, 8kgHydraulic Military Press: 30, 30, 30I got a cool free workout log book with my protein powder order from bodybuilding.com - I can more easily chart and record my progress now and I'll pitch the cardboard sheets I was keeping at the gym. After shoulders I did 200 calories worth on the eliptical with Will, then 15 minutes of breast stroke legs with a kickboard in the pool.
