Guest guest
Hi. I am considering starting these with , (15), and wondered what improvements others had seen with them. Also are they available in this country and if so where. If not, is there a good alternative method of administering? Many thanks, . Guest guest
The main thing with B12 is that most forms are not active or readily absorbed, and oral administration means that most of the supplement is broken down before it gets to where it is usually absorbed in the intestine. The active form is known as 'methylcobalamin'. This can be given in various ways including by subcutaneous injection. High dose oral administration of methylcobalamin can work as well as injections. The main thing is to be sure that this is really what is needed - have you checked FiGlu and MMA levels and are you sure that is not depleted in cobalt?Hope this helps,Ken To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe Sent: Tuesday, 24 July 2012, 9:03 Subject: Re: Vitamin B12 shots.
