Hi All

I contacted social services with regards to Direct Payments back in January, finally got social worker to assess Jack and our needs as a family with very short notice as some of you may remember!!

She was going to panel with 6 hour per week for Jack. To cut a long long story short she gave me a shed load of wrong information which led to nothing.

Panel was due to discuss Jack's case on the 20th July, I had heard nothing emailed her twice nothing, texted her today and she has called me back on her day off to tell me she had to go to court on another case on that day and left Jack's case with her colleague who also didnt attend!!!!

So it has now been moved to the end of August, when I asked if it would be back dated she said she could ask if I want!!!!

What I flipping well want is them to give you correct information and stick to what they say!!!

Can't believe it, I work full time and am juggling the kids around friends and family (not that they know that)

Just so bloody annoyed, can I complain about this? If so to who?

Always good to quote the Childrens Act 1989 which outlines direct payments http://www.careandhealthlaw.com/Public/Index.aspx?ContentID=-66 & IndexType=4 & TopicID=65 & Category=1 10) For the purposes of this Part a child shall be taken to be in need if:-
