Good morning!

Today I got in another Firm workout. I did Tough Tape 2. I have this one on DVD so I knew if I liked it well enough I'd stick it back on the shelf. It goes back on the shelf. :) I like it a lot better than TT1. There are only 2 rounds of leg presses and I think they divide upper and lower body pretty equally.

This workout is 45 minutes. I had a few extra minutes to spare this morning so I added on Yoga Shakti and did 15 minutes of that.

So with the workout and the yoga together I burned 404 calories, avg 136, max 175, steps 1,140

Have a great weekend!! ~~

TT which was just leg press after leg press!

Oh, you aren't kidding. I have a hate/hate relationship with leg presses to begin with, so that put a real damper on keeping the workout.

I have both and hardly remember them, only having done each once but do remember the endless leg presses in TT (which is probably why I haven't done it since). I like what they do for my body but I hate doing them when there are tons of them.

I don't remember TT2 at all but you're making me interested in doing it again. I'm not sure when I'll be up for FIRM workouts but when I can, I'll have to try that one especially.

I need to remember TT for Leg Day sometime!  Now that I'm running again I've been neglectful of leg day because my legs are almost always sore after a long run, the quads anyway.  I should do some hamstring work though to balance things out early next week though.  Hmmm...

Good job on finishing these, you Firmie!   it was fun hearing your reviews as you discovered all the Firms.  I've only done maybe 6 or 7 of 'em.

I was originally thinking of making February a FIRM month, I've loved reading 's comments about them! I still might... we'll see!

  • 2 weeks later...

, I'm so sorry that you are having trouble sleeping and the medication was a nightmare. Have you tried a natural remedy? JenSubject: Friday WorkoutTo: Cathe_Friedrich_Fans , exercisevideos , fitandthatsit Date: Friday, February 24, 2012, 9:40 AM

Good morning everyone!

I tried the sleeping pill that the insurance company finally approved last night and it was a NIGHTMARE. I didn't make me sleep. In fact, I had a extraordinary headache and my whole body was just full of anxiety. I was pretty much up all night.

I told myself that I would skip my workout if I felt really bad this morning. I felt bad, but the guilt got the best of me so I did work out.

I did KCM Split Session upper body. I was able to use the same weights as I did last night. This was all I did. I wanted to add on yoga, but just didn't have it in me.

Have a great weekend!!~~
