Guest guest
This contest was very much a tortoise-and-the-hare race! If any of the others had kept up as steady as I had, their age and/or gender would have easily sunk me! Most of them made great strides in the last 2-3 WEEKS; whereas I had keep losing the whole time. I sure dehydrating before helped, too, as well as seeing which clothes were the lightest. (Two people showed up for the weigh-in in shorts and a tank top! I didn't think of changing completely like that. They changed back immediately afterward.) Most of us did an extra-heavy workout before hand, too. Right now, I'm feeling kind of sick from binging. :-P We went out for a combined end-of-competition lunch, and farewell to me lunch. I'm REALLY going to miss this job. I don't think I'll do something like this again. It's rather stressful, as I tend to be competitive. I hope I never need it, either. I'm in the mid-140s right now, and I feel I could only stand to lose 10-15lbs from here (I'm only 5'4 " ). Indyrose
