Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My workout today was Couch to 5K, Week 2, Workout # 3 - since I do my Friday workout as a long walk w/ my friend, I only get 2 Couch to 5Ks in a week, which I'm ok with. I'm really in no hurry to finish the program, right now it is just something different for me to do for cardio. I stayed on the TM until I hit 3 miles which was around the 35 min mark. I move on to week # 3 later this week which has longer running intervals....I think I will do ok. This program is very good for progressing slowly and steadily. I also added on Classical Stretch - a recorded episode from PBs from Season 7. It was a good one - a bit of everything but some nice work at the barre for hip flexors and hamstrings, which is one of my favorite CS moves. I'm happy to say I'm noticing a huge difference from doing CS regularly. My back is much looser and I'm not having any issues at all w/ my hips/hip flexors. Yay!Hope everyone else is having a good day! I get to leave work early today - I have to pick DD up from school since DH is out of town for the day and since I"m home this afternoon she is going to have a friend over. It will be nice for her. I really feel the need to have a nice mental health day - I'm just so in need of a day w/ no work, no chores, no nothing! Talk to everyone later!Donna
Guest guest
Great job Donna! I know how it feels to need a "mental health" day...sometimes I want to do something fun with people sometimes I want to be by myself and do NOTHING! Guest guest
Hi Donna, I'm glad your back is going so well, that's great! It sounds like the pace of your C25K program is working well too. I hope you can fit in a mental health day soon!!
