Guest guest
Hey Girl! Slow down so I can catch up, I'm only on day 7 (I don't count rest days.) I only did two walks and played volleyball tonight. My knee is aching from the damp weather so I didn't do power push.....hopefully tomorrow I will do it. Don't get too far ahead, ok? Your PY Rotation buddy, JenSubject: PY: days 9 and 10To: "ExercisevideosYahoogroups (DOT) Com" <exercisevideos >Date: Wednesday, February 29, 2012, 11:01 PM well PY day 9 (tuesday) didnt go so well. i was tired and not feeling 100%. so i had to take a rest day. due to deli work i did not get my rest day last week and it caught up to me i guess. scheduled was walk and upper body which got pushed to day 10. today, i started to do the day 9 and 10 workouts - walk, upper, pilates, yoga - and got called into work in the butcher dept. got 6300 steps there so im counting that as my walk. the weather was awful today so i couldnt walk outside anyway. i spent 1.5 hours at work lifting 160 frozen butterball turkeys out of a boxes, onto a scale for weighing and pricing, then putting them back into the boxes. each turkey weighed an average of 13 pounds. i could have done the job faster but i just kept to a steady pace... no use killing myself for minimum wage... ugh! but if jen doesnt mind, im counting this as my upper body workout... i think it was a harder workout for me than kathy smith's PY upper workout anyway...lol :*carolyn. Guest guest
> I've been doing a lot of walking but no weight loss yet... just keep going and it will come if you consistently maintain a deficit in cal intake vs cal burn. instead, think of other ways in which exercise gives you immediate rewards -- a sense of accomplishment, a distraction from stress, time for yourself, mental clarity, a sense of control and empowerment. :*carolyn. Guest guest
>Your job is physically taxing! yes it can be. today i did my deli walking workout... 9900 steps! also, for 3 hours of my shift i did 'deli max' which is alot of strength training... first i was in a big walk-in cooler where i unloaded a skid of various products onto hand-carts. unfortunately, the skid contained products for 3 different departments, so i had to offload a bunch of stuff to dig out all of our things. i loaded up 5 carts and took 3 back to the deli and unloaded our stuff. products went onto shelves in our own walk-in cooler or else onto yet another cart which i then used to stock the deli's cold bunkers for customers. all i can say is that im glad i have a hot tub to blast away the soreness from working at the grocery store! :*carolyn.
