Great job !I wish we could trade days. I went to a funeral home (neighbor/friend) yesterday. Today I found out that another neighbors children won't let her go to her own husbands funeral! These so-called children are in their 30's...COME ON AND GROW UP! Apparently they HATE their stepmother who was also their teacher in school. They even broke into her townhouse to take their Dad's stuff -- ie a TV set etc... My neighbor (Joan) called the cops of them. She wasn't home at the time because her husband (Norm) passed away during their vacation in FLA and she had to wait to fly his body home to Michigan.I can't believe how people act these days!So two neighbors passed away this week and so did Davy ! I always liked him, Mickey and watching re-runs of the

Monkees.Sorry to be so depressing, JenSubject: MBSTo: exercisevideos Date: Saturday, March 3, 2012, 10:06 PM

I felt like doing a total body strength workout today, and The Firm Maximum Body Shaping with Long called to me. It's one of the few VHS tapes that survived the great exercise video purge of 2010. This is still a keeper.

Anyway, I had a BLAST! I guess I really was hungry for some variety. I only subbed during the abs. I don't like crunches, so I did a bunch of plank variations. What a nice workout. I might do this one again on Monday. I'm already feeling it in my gluteus and thighs.

When I was doing the plank variations, i tried doing Down Dog. I have been unwilling to try it since it used to cause me so much trouble -- like not being able to get back up again, but I thought enough time had passed. It went well. I think I'll do some yoga tomorrow and see how it goes.

Glen and I went for a long walk this afternoon. We went to an anniversary party. Very nice. The weather was superb.Happy Workouts!ngelica

Glad you had so much fun. I really like this one too. Love your idea on the planks instead of the crunches. Those are much harder than crunches :)

Thanks , I think they're safer for me. It seems like it's also a more efficient way to hit the whole core in a shorter period of time.
