rheum visit for hinny pain

Hi Joanne and all,

Today when I saw my rheum he gave me a steroid shot in my hinny for my

piriformis muscle pain. He poked me first and it was really ouch!!!

Then I went to the Xray dept for lumbosacral and hip xrays. The tech

took 5 views of my lumbosacral spine and bilateral hip views. My rheum

said if I am no better in a few weeks then he will schedule therapy.

Joanne, since you have similar injections, did yours work for you? I

seem to remember you saying they did. Hopefully mine will work so I can

start to walk better. Right now I walk very slow or limp quicker. The

steroid pack my rheum gave me Sept 1 worked for maybe a week then

symptoms came back.
